Very doubtful accuracy.
I had a blood pressure test at my local pharmacy. The reading was a bit high so the pharmacist suggested I had an all day monitor test. I already had a wrist monitor which is about 20 years old so was concerned about its accuracy. I bought this as I thought it would be accurate. Twice I tested myself immediately after the pharmacy monitor had given a reading. The first time this monitor gave readings 15 units more than the pharmacy monitor for both sys and dia. Even pulse was different. The old one gave closer readings. 15 could be the difference between needing medication or not. It even said that I had possible atrial fibrillation. Nothing was indicated on the pharmacy monitor costing £1000. This monitor cannot be relied upon to give accurate readings and I am now stuck with it.

The only blood pressure monitor you’ll ever need
I’ve been really impressed with the OMRON M7 Intelli IT AFib Blood Pressure Monitor. It’s easy to use, feels reliable, and the cuff is comfortable and simple to put on correctly. The readings have been consistent and accurate, and the ability to automatically sync results to my iPhone is a really useful feature for tracking my blood pressure over time. Overall, it’s an excellent monitor that gives me confidence in the readings, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Omron M7 Intelli
Bought this as I had concerns about the accuracy of an older monitor. This is easy to use, the cuff is comfortable and the readings seem to be accurate and repeatable. It verified my old machine was okay but the Omron connect app is really handy for keeping track and charting your readings. Very happy with this purchase.

Superb Blood Pressure Tester
No issues whatsoever, a superb bit of kit. Have used OMRON for many years, but this M7 is on a different level. But, ordered on line 31 March £99, collected 1April . Checked that night found it had been reduced to £79.20 with triple Nectar points. Returned unopened next day , staff credited and rebooked unit. £19.80 refunded to account but TRIPLE Nectar points haven’t materialised yet ???

Brilliant BP monitor, showing proper measurements
Had now for just over a month, great piece of kit, last £30 BP monitor produced inconsistent BP.s for both my wife and I but this is remains consistent and we have actually discovered that our BP s are not as bad as first thought. If you can, spend that bit more for quality and it will pay dividends in peace of mind and longevity. 100% recommended.

Yes, the cuff can fit a thin arm as long as the upper arm circumference is within 22 to 42 cm. If the arm measures less than 22 cm, the cuff may not fit properly.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for OMRON M7 Intelli IT AFib Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.
Both models are clinically validated and offer accurate blood pressure monitoring with Bluetooth connectivity and app support.
However, the X7 Smart includes automatic AFib (atrial fibrillation) detection with every reading, while the M7 requires manual activation for AFib checks. The X7 also features a larger display and is validated for use during pregnancy and for people with diabetes.

The supplier has advised the following for the OMRON M7 Intelli IT AFib Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor:
“ Please note that our M7 Intelli IT AFib is only compatible with the Intelli Wrap Cuff it comes with, given the different technology it uses. Unfortunately 22-42 cm is the only size the cuff is available in and the device is not compatible with our soft cuffs. ”

Yes, it has a facility called Truread that takes three consecutive readings. As well as the average, you can view the individual readings. I think the time between them can also be changed. Mine is at the default, 30 seconds between each one.
The is a connection for a 6V DC adaptor that is not included. Optional part HHP-BFH01. I believe it is an alternative power source and not to charge batteries.
