Comfortable but not sturdy
I got this wheelchair so I could get out after a foot op, but even though it was comfortable to sit in, it certainly didn’t feel very sturdy and seemed to drift. It was terrible on uneven ground, also quite heavy to lift in and out the car.

I find the wheelchair handy it helps me to get out and about and around the only issue I have with it is the breaks aren’t that good it will still move a little bit when getting into it when the breaks are on. Better for indoor use then outdoors but I have used it outside and it does help I would recommend it. It fits in the car quite easily just wish the foot rest would be fitted on the wheelchair instead of coming off

Impressive budget wheelchair.
Extremely sturdy wheelchair, easy for me to push and suitable for long distance. I would recommend a pillow for comfort over long distance. For the price this really is impressive, does not feel cheap and comes assembled apart from the feet pedestals which attach in 10 seconds. Highly recommended, purchased for my mom who has very bad back issues.

Was really difficult to keep in a straight line a bit like a supermarket trolley with a dodgy wheel .grab rail used to push wheels forward was a bit tight for my fingers so wouldn’t buy if I’d known this .

Good value, feels sturdy and easy to use
Feels very sturdy and good value for the money, folds up and opens easily, fits in the boot of a normal car. There are probably lighter wheelchairs out there but not for this price.

The supplier has advised for the Drive Medical Black Sport Self Propelled Wheelchair: To apply the parking brakes, push the handle on the brake unit until locked in place. To release the brake, push the handle in the opposite direction. The brakes should always be applied when the wheelchair is stationary.
