I am happy with my choice, the sound and tuning is good but I’m still trying to get the alarm setting to work right for us. This is no fault of the product but as I’m an old lady shall have to keep trying until I get it right!

Good purchase for his birthday
I bought this item for my Father's 91st birthday and had it PAT tested for him. The only drawback was no remote control with it as he has poor mobility

An impressive radio
Great little radio. A small unit with the features of a larger unit. I especially like the sleep function. The display is clear and the auto dimming makes this a good bedside radio. However the radio would be good in any room in the house given it’s great tone and volume range.

Replacing smart speakers with normal tech
Been removing all the smart speakers from the house and wanted a replacement alarm and speaker for the bedroom. Not often I buy a bit of tech and have no issue with something about it, but this thing is perfect! The design is great, it feels really solidly built, the screen is clear, the DAB is crystal clear, the Bluetooth is flawless, the buttons are intuitive once you’ve read what they do, and the sound quality is incredible for such a small device. Finally, the alarms work reliably and get louder until they reach the volume you set

This is not the first Roberts radio that I have purchased. The unit is on the pricey side for a bedside alarm/clock Dab radio however, the a acoustics are excellent as is the readability, connectivity & versatility. The unit has all the features that can be required of a quality product which adequately meets my need and more.

Great alarm clock. The radio starts quietly then gradually becomes louder. You can also set the volume of the radio higher than the wake up call.
