Had this kettle for a couple of months now. No problems with it so far. Not the quietest, can drip a bit if tipped too far when pouring ( but then nearly all kettles do), boils reasonably quickly and outside doesn’t get too hot. All in all happy

The mesh is very fine metal
The kettle when empty is just over a kilogram, obviously it is heavier when it contains water, i would say it is probably not the lightest of kettles as it is quite large in size compared to some others. It feels sturdy and is easy to pour
