Great kettle and features
Very easy to use electric kettle with good advice regarding keeping clean and descaling regularly. Good that environmentally friendly treatment is recommended for descaling. A little loud when boiling but effective and quick especially when boiling small amounts. Holds sufficient water for every day use. Pours well without dripping. 360 degree turning. Good length on cord but can be stored safely underneath so is tidy on worktop.

Rapid boil, covered element
I chose this kettle as it was 3kw rapid boil and has a concealed element. It does the job, but is noisier than the one I replaced and doesn’t pour as well as the old one.

really well designed kettle
I have been using this Bosch design line kettle for a week and it's simply great. I can use it single handed, including to open the lid to refill, when filled it's balanced well so my arithmetic wrist isn't strained, the pour is controlled, it doesn't drip. No kettle is quiet but this at least isn't overly noisy. All features not present in my previous cheaper kettle.and it's almost plastic free.

Well it's a kettle! Bought to replace a failed earlier version. A Which 'Best Buy' and even better value with an Argos discount. Feels solid, looks the part, has markings to indicate lowest water levels to avoid over filling. Boils reasonably quickly. A couple of minors - water level is not as easy to read as our old kettle and this is quite large and imposing - but it's good looking, jug type kettle. Limescale filter is more robust than our old one,

The mesh is very fine metal
The kettle when empty is just over a kilogram, obviously it is heavier when it contains water, i would say it is probably not the lightest of kettles as it is quite large in size compared to some others. It feels sturdy and is easy to pour
