Great features

Not Happy
Absolutely appalling kettle. Lid failed to open fully after about six weeks. There's not an illuminating light inside to see the amount of water you have. Very had to see. Also spout for pouring dribbles.

Bosh large capacity kettle
I purchased this kettle last week, arrived at Argos for collection swiftly, good size, easy to fill and hold. Has a strange sound at the start, fires up then goes quiet then starts again. But works well. Could do with being a lityle quieter.

Highly recommended
This is the second kettle of this model that I have bought. The original gave good service and lasted many years and was only replaced due to the auto cut off not working. Excellent buy.

Well-constructed item
Functions well . Noise when boiling can be intrusive. Would benefit from illuminated fill level window. Reasonably priced .

Good but too noisy
The noise would stop me buying another one.

The kettle when empty is just over a kilogram, obviously it is heavier when it contains water, i would say it is probably not the lightest of kettles as it is quite large in size compared to some others. It feels sturdy and is easy to pour
