The Cross DS27MAV Mountain Bike handles off-road routes and daily commutes with equal confidence. Its dual suspension smooths out rough terrain, whilst the lightweight alloy frame makes lifting and manoeuvring easier when you need it. Regular riding builds fitness and opens up new routes beyond the roads.
It features a Shimano drivetrain with EZ-Fire shifters for straightforward gear changes across multiple speeds. The wheels suit riders with inside leg measurements suited to the frame size. Front and rear disc brakes deliver reliable stopping power in varied conditions. Zoom front forks absorb impacts on uneven ground. The frame provides a manageable fit for many adult riders. Minimal assembly required - tyres arrive partially inflated and should be topped up before riding. Maximum rider weight suitable for most adult riders.

Decent
As a 5ft2 woman (adult) this bike size is perfect, I had a previous bike I was learning to ride in but it was too big for me so I could never learn properly. This bike has been good so far to learn in and I’m enjoying the ride. I did have to swap the seat for a more plush seat but apart from that the bike is good. Cons are the price reduced by almost £60 after I got it and Argos refused to help, a shame and then there’s no holes for the bottle holder? Suspension is decent, it is heavy and the braking isn’t the best for me. Nice bike to learn to ride will last a few years until I’m ready to get a proper bike like a trek

Initial comments as follows - Arrived well packaged within few days; requires attachment of front wheel, handlebar stem, and saddle post which most bikers will be familiar with. Basic tools are provided. Being full-suspension mountain bike it is not light-weight, but looks robust and capable of dealing with current poor state of the roads.
