simple to use
This portable DVD player was just what we needed for a relative who was in hospital with no tv or radio. It was simple to use, the vision and sound were good and saved him many hours of boredom.

I first bought this for my husband while supporting him in his last few months of life in hospital. It gave him shared experiences with his family watching Attenborough documentaries and other entertainment and information DVDs. My mother was beyond curious about the product so purchased a second weeks later for her Christmas gift ‘25. Restrictions in connectivity and viewing of internet and Sky TV then induced a third purchase. All in all this player offers a great screen size and ease of use for all ages. A solid viewing experience some would describe as legacy media, my view is that this product will have a strong legacy. If you’re looking to guide viewing for young kids, or watch on the go or have a back up for entertainment…look no further!

So far so good.
This is a good DVD player with its own screen , plus leads to connect to a TV. Additionally there is a car charger , USB connectivity and rechargeable battery. However I was surprised that there is no 'time left' display. Rather annoying. It does have the Resume facility fortunately.

Impressive screen size...
I bought this item as a replacement, as my daughter’s previous “Player” (that’s what she calls it) suddenly stopped working. My daughter has Down’s syndrome and autism, so we needed a replacement as quickly as possible to avoid a potential meltdown. Argos was my first choice, but due to the price of this particular item, it wasn’t ideal. However, no other “Player” was available anywhere for immediate pickup, so we had little choice but to go ahead with this purchase. Thankfully, my daughter is very happy with her new “Player” and, to be honest, it’s great. The screen size is impressive and it’s very easy to use. It is a bit chunky, but given that this type of equipment isn’t in huge demand these days, we weren’t expecting anything ultra-slick or high-tech. I ordered the item from a store located in Sainsbury’s; the process was very straightforward and everyone I spoke to was very pleasant. Thanks...
