A good size screen makes for easy viewing though the sound is a bit tinny without headphones. The only downside is that it's not compatible with wireless headphones.

For a portable dvd player, it's wonderful have a 15 inch screen to view media on. Our previous player had a screen size of 11 inches. The battery appears to be robust, and dvd player mechanism, silent. The mechanism of our previous player was noisy. Other than that, it appears to be great value for money, and a wonderful upgrade.

TV alternative
A lovely, easy to use device. Got it for alternative to watching all the violent/depressing and repeats rubbish on television. It's easy to move and use in any room of house, even for technophobe OAP with no family to help. Nice big screen. Picture and sound quality great.

Solution to a problem
Very impressed after initial use. Bought for my mum who's in a care home so we could watch nature dvd's. She has a tv in her room but it's quite far away and she can't always see/hear what's going on and gets confused. Easy enough that the carers could also help her with it. Only concern is the screen feels a little loose when you swivel it but I will just be careful with it. Sound quality good and looking forward to trying out other functions.
