Excellent cat feeder

I bought this feeder to replace an older one that had become unreliable and am very pleased with it. It is better designed than the old one except in one respect - see below - and more compact. It's powered from the mains but uses batteries (not included) as back up. Programming the settings for timing and number or portions is a bit laborious but once it's done, it's done. The visual display is excellent. I would have given five stars except that I had to take the feeder back to Argos when I couldn't get the lid off to refill it for the first time. Luckily the helpful Argos person was able to break off a tiny bit of surplus plastic inside the lid (a manufacturing defect), and solved the problem.

It’s good

It’s good it does what it says. I use it to portion my cats food. She loves her food and eats it all at once. I replaced the bowl with one of her own just because I thought she would prefer it. Lots of parts to clean.

Handy Pet Feeder

I bought this a few weeks ago, and it's been great. I've set it up with a message to call my cat at each feeding time. It took him a few days to get used to it, and he was very scared of the noise that it makes at first. He's a jumpy cat though, so I think most pets will be fine

Excellent cat feeder

Game changer. Can leave cat alone for a couple of days and know she is being fed. Set up is straight forward, appreciate the level of detail you can customise it to (up to about 5 feeds, maybe more with different volumes pf feed). My cat only eats dry food so this is perfect. Recommended.

Great product

I bought this a month ago — everything is working as expected, and I’m really happy with it. The only thing is that to amend a setting, you have to go through all the previously configured settings, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

Never have to worry about my kitten being fed

What a great product. It has a lovely design and looks great in my kitchen. I love the features and functionality. Easy to set up and I’m so pleased with it, I never have to worry about my kitten missing out on meals while I’m working. He loves it too and loves the feature of my voice on the recording

My cat will not use it

Bought this to cover a couple of days. My cat was terrified of it and ate nothing - food was everywhere when I got back as a consequence. It took 5 days to get him eating again. The rubber mechanism taints the food so that it is not palatable. I am very disappointed that such an expensive product was a waste of money.
