Turning this lamp on or off is toe tappingly easy with the inline foot switch.

It comes with its shade but it’s not pre-installed. You need to fit the shade to it after purchase. However, we do have to also advise that this is designed and tested for use with this specific shade and, for all our products, we advise they be used with the original parts as intended. To do otherwise would invalidate the item's guarantee and, also, would be entirely at your own risk.
We cannot promise a different shade would keep the item stable enough or be made of suitable materials that are safe enough to use on it.
