Although seatpad is showerproof, we do stack and store ours in garage.
We have left out in rain (without seatpad), no signs of weathering yet.

At the moment I have them outside, but I noticed a few marks ( approx 0.5cm width) of rust spots so when the weather is completely awful , I will be 100% storing them indoors. Wouldn’t risk them getting ruined and I really like them.
