A screwdriver is not required to access the battery compartment on this model. The battery compartment is designed to be easily opened by hand for straightforward battery replacement.

The supplier has advised the following for the Salter Compact Bathroom Scale - White: "the Salter Compact Bathroom Scale Model 9207 WH3R typically measures weight in increments of 0.2 lb (which is approximately 0.1 kg). This means the scale will show weight changes as small as 0.2 lb."

The Salter Compact Bathroom Scale - White, allows you to switch between metric and imperial weight measurement. This will be shown in the instructions leaflet and the button to change this is normally found by the battery area.
