The 1.3l main bowl handles liquids easily, and the extra-large feeder tube fits bigger veg. The three bowl system is a little confusing initially. It is also very heavy so not ideal if you keep it in a cupboard. However is is very good quality and very quiet.

Good quality food processor
I bought this to replace my Kenwood food processor. It comes with several accessories in a storage box, and having 3 different sized bowls is very useful, making it very versatile product. The downside is it's a very heavy machine so I have to leave it on my kitchen worktop instead of being able to store it away in a cupboard. The price is also quite high, but the guarantee is long, and it's a good quality item, so the high price is understandable.

The 4200XL comes with blades for grating, however the customer would have to purchase one of our specialist blades to puree fresh ginger.''

The manufacturing does recommend you use the midi bowl.

I have been at Magimix for over 20 years, and to the best of my knowledge, there has never been a model called a Magimix Food PRO 4200XL, nor has there ever been a heavy-duty metal one.
The body of the model that Argos stock is made of a very robust plastic, but it is classified as a domestic product. Despite that, it comes with a 30-year motor warranty and 3-year all other parts warranty.
