Scratches way too easily even when careful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only been using the hob for a week with my brand new induction hob rated pans and pots and I have been extremely careful not moving the pans and pots around and lifting on and off carefully, always ensuring no salt or anything is on the hob prior to cooking and it's scratched so easily. Why don't Bosch have anti scratch surface on this???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this induction hob as our old one was slowly giving up. Our previous induction hob was also a Bosch that was 20 years old and still in perfect condition. Upon receiving this one soon after, despite great care it managed to chip on the corner. There is no steel frame protecting the induction hob leaving it at higher risk of damage and breakages. It does have a timer but you have to ensure it's set correctly or the food will continue cooking. It does have a boost function which is very handy and it is very easy to clean. However, I have noticed that in recent years the quality of Bosch products decreasing. Also if you manage to burn the hob the burn marks do not go, no matter how much you clean it.

Great replacement for a ceramic hob
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hob was easily dropped in to replace a ceramic hob which was working but not very powerful. The new Bosch induction hob is very powerful, can boil water and heat oil in what feels like seconds on 'boost'. Much easier to keep clean than ceramic hob which had knobs. Beeping is quite loud when buttons are pressed (this can be turned off completely but I don't think the volume can be adjusted, which is a minor complaint- would be the only thing I would change.)

Heating switches off intermittently while in use
Using compatible pan on the correct sized ring, the heating intermittently goes goes off. Tried to use the c12 cookware test but unable to select this in basic settings. Expensive hob and suspect it is faulty
