About this product
Interesting name, isn't it? But honestly, this is a twin lamp that offers something for the whole family. A contemporary alternative to more standard floor lamp designs. With an uplighter that reflects a soft glow to illuminate a wide area. While the lower adjustable task light is for reading, writing or even completing a puzzle. Individually dimmable, the floor lamp comes with a rotary dimmer switch.
With a modern brushed chrome finish, this is one good-looking luminaire.

Lamp
It’s ok, not the best by a long way but just ok. Bulbs could be brighter

Disfunctional
There were bits missing when my husband put this together and then the dimmer didn’t work. Very poor and returned it

Don't buy this!
It looks fantastic in the pictures but I wish I'd read the reviews first. It was really fiddly and awkward to put together, the pictorial instruction sheet that came with it wasn't that easy to follow. The little tiny screws that were supposed to stabilise the top main lamp didn't do the job so it kept wobbling and I kept having to rebalance it, the bulbs were an absolute fiddle to get in. I switched it on and it gave a lovely light. However, after a few days it main light randomly began switching itself off. Sometimes it would stay lit for an hour, sometimes it was off in ten minutes or less but it switched itself off every time. Then to add insult to injury the small reading light started to flicker like a disco light. It was nothing to do with my plug points because I tried it in a couple of others with the same result. Enough was enough and I took it back for a refund

Elegant
Bought this light at a good price in Argos! A very elegant addition that stands neatly in the corner illuminating the 'Reading Corner'.

Looks fine but functionality falls short
I was really hoping this floor lamp would be a good deal, but it’s been more frustrating than expected. Assembly was easy enough, but that’s about the only positive. It didn’t come with any bulbs, which was disappointing — for the price, that should be standard. The dimmer is unreliable and only works when it feels like it. Most of the time it becomes completely unresponsive, and I have to unplug the whole thing off from the socket just to reset it. Honestly, it’s more hassle than it’s worth. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend it unless the quality improves.

Looks great but broke after 10 days
I bought this lamp based on the fact that I bought one 2 years ago, and wanted a matching pair. It’s not exactly the same but close enough. Unfortunately after 10 days the dimmer function on the large uplighter “broke”. Meaning that it was just on in the corner of the room for about an hour when it flashed and went as bright as it would, and will not go dimmer since. Just turns straight onto the brightest setting. Not hugely impressed but these things happen. In saying that I will return this one and buy another as I really do like the lamp, and the other one is still going strong after 2 years!

Dimmer failed
I bought this in September and despite buying the recommended dimmer bulb from Argos this failed to work.

Flickering lamp
Very stylish lamp but as others have reported, smaller lamp causes flickering and brightness of both is limited. Very disappointed and would not recommend this purchase.
