About this product
The Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine offers a reliable 2-in-1 design that works during power cuts. Dedicated buttons for essential functions and a one-touch nuisance call block make managing calls effortless. Power backup uses 2 AAA batteries to keep the base working during outages, while large buttons ensure simple, accurate dialling. The answer machine records up to 40 minutes of messages with personalised recording, and the call block key registers unwanted numbers with a single press.
It's packed with practical features that work together. You get 100 name and number memories, 40 ringtones, handsfree calling, and adjustable speaker and ringer volumes. The batteries deliver up to 17 hours talktime or 330 hours standby, with a reliable 50m indoor and 300m outdoor range. Out of range and low battery indicators keep you informed, while caller ID, call log, and last number redial make managing calls easy. Everything comes ready to use in the box, backed by a 3 year manufacturer's guarantee. A Caller ID service subscription is needed to use call blocking features.

Excellent value.
My wife thought that this telephone would be good purchase for her elderly mother, how right she was, easy to use, big dialling numbers and number storage. This phone has made life easier for her mother. Excellent value for money.

Good looking but impractical
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and am very disappointed that you cannot change the ringer tone on the base set. Also the lead from the base set to the router needs to be longer

Just what I needed.
This was purchased as a gift for my elderly parents. I wanted a landline that can be used even when there's a power cut.

Hi Aashish,
The talk and standby time of the Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine would vary based on the batteries used and the power level of said batteries if using rechargeables
Thanks for using Q&A
Hey Wendy,
I can advise that you can allocate different call tones (ringers) to different callers on the Panasonic KX-TGF320 by assigning those callers to a specific group and then setting a unique ringtone for that group. The phone has a limited number of groups (typically 9) you can use for this feature.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Babs,
The Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine has a power back up operation allowing you to continue using the base in case of a power cut by using two AAA batteries.
Please note: this would also depend on your phone provider and how you receive your services.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hello PB,
I can advise the following for the Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine:
The larger phone is the main unit that needs to be plugged into the network.
Thanks for using Q & A.
As far as I can see from the description and the pdf, the base unit is a normal analogue landline telephone set with answering machine and NOT eg a VoIP phone set for use on internet-only telecom lines. The wireless radio connection between the main unit and its included cordless handset conforms to the DECT ie Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone standard in which the sound signals are converted into digital signals that are conveyed on the 1.8GHz radio carrier signal.
Hello Chelle,
The Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine has a digital cordless answering system.

Hello There,
The Panasonic KX-TGF320 Combo Telephone with Answer Machine does not have the 1471 feature built-in. The 1471 service is typically provided by your telephone service provider and allows you to dial 1471 to hear the last number that called you.
Thank you for using Q&A
