This is a really great kettle.
Dualit Architect is a great kettle. This is my third and I wouldn't dream of buying another brand. They last for years. It's easy to fill and operate.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dualit 72926 Architect Kettle - Stainless Steel: ''No this is NOT a double walled kettle. It should only be touched by the handle when boiled. The lid can be opened by pushing the “touch safe” button on the handle.''

Having checked I can see the water filter does not need to be replaced but needs cleaning regularly. Instructions on how to do this are included in he box.
