Worth having
The flat-law surface is ideal for breakfast foods like pancakes, friend eggs, bacon. Griling steaks is fast and gives it the char-grill marks. I have not tired burgers or kebabs yet. The grill please feature a non stick coating and are very easy to clean. Good heat. The only minor con is some grease can collect around the hinges - just keep an eye when adding grease. I love it and would buy it again.

Great to start with
Got as a Christmas present from my son and the hot plate is useless already. It started great but now eggs stick, bacon sticks hot plate is now useless very disappointed. It has been properly cared for so don’t know why this has happened.

Easy peasy
The best grill I have bought so good,i am going to get a second one for the summer to use as a barbecue, side by side the griddle plat and flat plate. It will work out so much cheaper than a big barbecue. And easy to store . I love how you can change the plates to accommodate what you’re cooking. They have drip tray at the front , the fold down lid comes off for easy cleaning , the plates wash so easy very non stick. Highly recommend this .

Excess fat from food cooked on the Ninja GR101UK Sizzle Health Grill is collected in a built-in grease trap and trough, designed to channel and contain runoff. The supplier has advised the following for the Ninja GR101UK Sizzle Health Grill:
“ Kindly note that depending on the type of food that you cook, you may need to turn it on the other side.
Once ingredients are cooked to satisfaction, remove from the grill and turn the dial until it clicks into the “OFF” position. The power indicator light will turn off.
You can find more information in the instructions booklet and the Quick Start & Recipe Guide. ”

You have to switch it off when you finished cooking food and yes you have to turn food over ( steaks )
Hello! The splatter lid is dishwasher safe, but we don't recommend putting the grill and flat plate in the dishwasher.
I have not tried washing it ,as after each use I clean thoroughly with hot water sponge and it cleans and removes any grease or anything properly.
You can read the recipe book which came with the grill or just refer to the guide printed on the front of the grill.
The grill works like any other grill, just let it get to temperature then cook like any other grill.

Hi Carol, thanks for your question. You'll be able to make grilled cheese sandwiches, similar to if you were to cook it in a frying pan. There isn't a heated lid to be able to toast both sides of the sandwich at the same time. Kind regards, Ninja Kitchen UK

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ninja GR101UK Sizzle Health Grill: ''Regarding the materials of the GR101UK model, the cooking plates are ceramic-coated and contain PTFE, like most non-stick frying pots and pans. The mesh is stainless steel, the same material used for oven racks.''
