With 200 watts of power and a sharp stainless steel blade, it blitzes through fresh herbs, chops nuts with ease, and tackles everything from garlic to ginger in seconds. The compact 0.5l capacity is perfect for smaller batches, so you're not wrestling with a massive appliance when you just need a handful of chopped parsley or crushed walnuts for a salad. The single speed setting keeps things simple - just press and go.

Superb !!
I bought this a few months ago, just to make life easier because I suffer with arthritis in my hands, it doesn't hold much but it does the job and saves me a lot of time from chopping and dicing !! Happy with my purchase.

Works well- seems powerful enough
I found the lid through which the blade shaft comes a bit awkward to work with as it pushes into the container but there is no lipto position it firmly

Asset in the kitchen
Wanted to improve my 5-a-day intake and have certainly achieved that. Have chopped up peppers, toms, cucumbers, mushrooms, red onions. Eating with main meals and in sandwiches. Delicious.

Decent for price
Purchased this recently to chop nuts and difficult to chew food. The blade sits quite high so you have to repeatedly shake food to the side to catch the blade. For the price it’s adequate

Hello Magz.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Cookworks CH1117BN Mini Chopper - Black.
The mini chopper is designed to finely chop herbs and spices. Unlike a pestle and mortar, which crushes ingredients, the chopper uses a cutting action, so the results will differ.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Al,
Cookworks CH1117BN Mini Chopper - Black
Having checked I can see this is not suitable for grinding coffee beans.
Thanks for using Q and A.
Hi stuart1973,
The Cookworks CH1117BN Mini Chopper is suitable for chopping herbs, nuts, and other small food items. For chopping meat finely, it can handle small quantities of boneless, soft meat (like chicken or beef) reasonably well, especially if the meat is cut into smaller chunks first.
If you're planning to use it regularly for meat, especially in larger quantities or for very fine textures a more powerful appliance might be a better.
Thank you for using Q&A
