The Bush Hampton DAB Radio delivers clear reception with 20 preset DAB and FM stations, so your favourite shows are a button press away. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery lets you move it from worktop to bedside without cables, charging via the included 60cm USB Type-C cable. The full colour TFT display shows scrolling text, clock and station info, while Bluetooth lets you stream music or podcasts from your mobile. The dual alarm with sleep timer makes it ideal as a bedside radio, waking you gently to your chosen station.
At 2 watts RMS output, it's ideal for smaller spaces where you want clear sound without overpowering the room. The headphone socket means you can listen privately when others are sleeping or reading. Presets don't work.
I bought the Radio a couple of weeks ago. Having read other reviews I was not expecting the Presets to work and they don't. I could return it but it's mostly one Station that I listen to, DAB Station selection is easy and this was the cheapest DAB+ radio I could find. I get about 5 hours of radio from the battery . It comes with a USB to c lead but you will need an adaptor which most people have. As a radio it picks up the signals well and has a nice sound. If you're looking for a small rechargeable radio then this could be it, if you want Presets you'll probably return it.

I bought this item recently and although I was pleased with the radio itself - when I tried to use the preset function I found that it wasn't working at all - when I returned the radio for another one - I found that it had the exact same problem - no presets were working I contacted Argos Complaints Department and they advised me to buy another model

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Black: ''The built-in li-ion battery is designed to provide reliable durable performance under normal use conditions. However, as with all li-ion batteries, they gradually loose capacity over time as part of normal charge/discharge cycling. Outside of the 12 month warranty, the built-in li-ion battery can be replaced at its end of life, however for safety reasons, we recommend the battery replacement process is only undertaken by a suitably qualified technician for example, through a reputable 3rd party repair specialist. ''

Our supplier has advised that the Bush DAB/DAB+ FM Rechargeable Bluetooth Portable Radio-Grey built-in rechargeable li-ion battery takes up to 3.5hrs to fully charge (reaches approximately 80% full charge after 2hrs). When operating on battery power, a fully recharged battery will provide up to 8hrs of listening time at 50% volume with Bluetooth-In mode off. Listening at higher volumes and/or with Bluetooth-In mode activated, will significantly increase battery consumption/reduce overall listening times.
