About this product
Keep your room comfortable year-round with this ceiling fan and light that circulates air to help you feel cooler in summer and retain warmth in winter. The four-arm white design with a chrome body and central domed light replaces your existing ceiling fitting, providing ventilation and reliable illumination in one fixture. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, or dining spaces where you want comfort without opening windows or turning up heating. Two pull chains with wooden pulls let you control fan speed and light independently, so you can adjust to suit the season or time of day.
It uses a single golfball ES LED bulb up to 10 watts, giving you energy-efficient lighting that's easy to replace when needed. The 43cm drop works well in rooms with standard ceiling heights, and the white blades with chrome detailing blend in with both modern and classic interiors. Installation replaces your central ceiling light fitting, and the fixture is backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for complete peace of mind.

Simple stylish and quiet
This is the second ceiling fan I have purchased and installed one in the bedroom one in the front room they have both been absolutely heavenly when we have these short heat waves we can actually sleep now. used them on all the settings even the lowest setting is better than those little floor fans. Worth every penny looking forward to the next heat wave

Good quality but heavy to fit by yourself!
A BIG hassle fitting if you have one more than one main cable coming into the light and very heavy, needs 2 people to fit. Apart from this, the light/ fan itself is of good quality and quiet sounding. Ideal for this heatwave…

Nightmare to put together!
Purchased a few days ago due to original one from Argos packing up although it had been in a good few years! Looks good but absolute pig to put together!

Does the job
This replaced my old ceiling fan, its not as quiet as my old one, I can hear a bit of a hum but it does the job of cooling the room down.

Brought this fan to replace my old one. Was a little tricky to fix but overall a good fan and light. Works well and gives off good air circulation.

Wish I got one years ago!
Love this ceiling fan. Never had one before and would definitely recommend. I’m a hot sleeper and this fan has really helped to keep me cool in the night. I pop it on the lowest setting and it’s very quiet, just a low hum which I actually find quiet relaxing! The fan is really heavy and seems well made especially for the price which is really competitive when you compare it to others online. I’d buy another one for my living room if my ceilings weren’t so low. Not too difficult to install either, just watched a few videos online (the instructions aren’t very detailed). Took two of us about an hour to assemble and fit it.

Hello Hoggle,
The supplier has advised for the Argos Home Ceiling Fan - Chrome & White: This product has two pull-cord switches. One switch operates the light, turning it on and off, while the other operates the fan. Pulling the fan cord once starts the fan at the lowest speed. Each subsequent pull increases the fan speed until the fan is turned off.

Hi Red21,
It’s not uncommon for ceiling fans, including the Habitat Ceiling Fan - Chrome & White, to wobble at high speeds. However, it’s usually a sign that something needs adjustment. Here are a few common causes and solutions:
The fan blades might be misaligned. Ensure all blades are at the same height and angle.
Check if any screws holding the blades or the fan itself are loose. Tightening them can often resolve the wobbling1.
Blade Holder Issues: Sometimes, the blade holders might be misaligned or loose. Tightening these can also help.
I hope this helps
