This small, compact structure features pine shiplap with tongue and groove depth for durability. 2 opening single-glazed windows and double doors let in plenty of light. The outdoor building features an OSB roof and tongue and groove floor for stability. Delivered in base coat only, it requires wood treatment to complete. Assembly needs 2 people. Features a 10-year anti-rot guarantee from the manufacturer.

A great addition to our garden
My wife has always wanted to have a little summerhouse, and this fits her expectations. It is very well made and the instructions are very straight forward. Assembly took a little longer than expected, and that was because I wanted to pre paint with a good quality wood preserver first. Having said that, it is a real asset and a lovely cozy rest area for us to share. Delivery took place when they said it would, and the delivery driver was more than helpful. Being disabled there are still a few things to do to complete (glazing) but hey ho weather permitting it should be complete within the a couple of days. Overall this Summerhouse is a fantastic addition to our garden, we are very happy with it.

Shire need to be better
So I bought from Argos but it turns out the summerhouse is from Shire (there is no mention that its Shire on Argos) Have a look at Shires Trust Pilot reviews! I had no problem with Argos or the Shire delivery driver who were both excellent. The Shire automated emails are poor with links that simply don't work. Shire say you will be told the day before delivery of an expected delivery time that did not happen. On the day of delivery I did get and ETA and that was spot on. The driver was great and the parts all looked to be okay. Some of the dip treatment was poor to say the least. When I came to build I found I was short of the two main screws, I emailed Shire but received no response after a week so had to buy the needed screws. Major pain was that the glass panels and there are lots were nicely wrapped in dry bubble wrap but were all soaking wet inside so a real pain to separate each pain. The design is also not to standard and I used extra screws since I had to buy more anyhow! the doors and windows leak as there needs to be a triangular fillet fitted above doors and windows which I ended up making my self to make the summerhouse more water tight. I feel Shire have cut corners to save money but with some extra care and attention from myself the summerhouse is great. I eventually got a response from Shire but it was simply too late. I hope Argos speak with Shire as they simply were not up to scratch.

I am absolutely delighted with my summer house - my nephew had it up and watertight within three hours. He came back next day to complete as weather held him back from finishing the roof which took longer than the erection but the time spent on the roof proved worthwhile.

The manufacturer does not recommend using a hot tub in this Summerhouse as the increased moisture may negatively impact the timber.
