Customers Say
Stylish, comfortable, and sturdy wooden steamer chairs offering good value. Cushions are often noted as thin and less comfortable. Folding mechanism is practical but not fully flat for storage.

Good Lounger, shame about the cushion
I recently bought two of these lounger and like the other reviews I have to say that one of ties broke as soon as we put the cushion on the chair, I think that if they were made from elastic there would not be a problem. They do sit quite well on the chair without them being around it, I have just tied the middle part to the chair and it seems to be working so far. Yes the cushions are thin but I find the chair very comfortable and can not feel the spars of the chair. The chair it's self seems good quality and went together easily although we did use or own allan keys instead of the one supplied for this. They are that orange colour that most furniture at this price point is sprayed, this doesn't bother me as it tends to fade over time.

Not great
Bought this and returned next day. It was sold as sun lounger but it’s a steam chair with foot rest so doesn’t recline, bad description

Stylish garden steamer chair
Despite numerous negative reviews I decided to see for myself. This is a Habitat product, that speaks for itself. This is a £100 item, more expensive steamer chairs might feel heavier but, this is good value. Straightforward to assemble, no parts missing & timber smooth & well presented. Style wise it's a winner & ergonomically very comfortable. The fabric cushion pad is the palest cream & rather slender, I'm using a back cushion too. The seating position is fixed, perhaps more expensive types have recline positions in place. I have found it portable & easy for one person, unless you have a large family of heavy boisterous youngsters I see this being very durable. I have yet to remove the polythene wrapping on the cushion pad, I intend to spray it with a shower proof spray product.

Looks better than it is
Bought at the weekend and the attachments for the pad have snapped already (it moves around when you sit down, I am well within the weight limits). I agree with other reviews that the pad is thin but didn’t find it too uncomfortable. It was easy enough to assemble but I can’t imagine it will be particularly durable. It looks nice than the metal affairs in my opinion but its looks don’t make up for its function. I’d say avoid.

Does the job but overpriced and cushion too thin
Does the job and was very easy and quick to put together. Good to have the 3 recline options. However it's not very well made for the price - marks on the chair and the cushion when it arrived. Also extremely uncomfortable because the cushion is SO thin - have had to spend another £40 and ordered a replacement from Amazon.

Garden chair
Ok value quite narrow thin cushions and seems quite a lot for £100

wooden sun lounger
one of the sun loungers bought 5 years ago developed a crack and we were delighted to see that the matching ones are still available. These are very comfy and fold away nicely for winter.
