About this product
Trips to the park just got simpler. This Challenge rear car rack carries 2 bikes, helping make family adventures easier to plan. The design fits various vehicles. It's built to help you load up and go without fuss. Perfect for weekend rides or spontaneous cycling trips with the kids.
The rear-mounting design helps keep bikes away from boot space, leaving room for picnic bags and gear. It's suitable for families who cycle together regularly. Supervision recommended when loading bikes onto the rack.

Customers Say
Bike rack is easy to install and works for short trips, but strap quality and fit vary by car and bike type. Some users report strap breakage and fit issues, while others find it sturdy and good value.

Does the job
Bought this as I only have a small car (corsa) and can’t fit my son’s mountain bike in it. It’s already built you just need to adjust the straps. It takes 2 people to attach it to the car and is slightly awkward but it does the job. The bits where the bike sits into are slightly small so don’t fit my son’s carrera in fully but enough for it to be safe.

Worked very well (after a bit of trial and error)
Very good for the price. Have only used it for one trip so far but it worked well. It did take me a couple of goes to anchor it firmly (on my Audi A3). It has two straps at the top, two at the sides and two underneath - and, on my first outing, one of the side-strap clips popped out while going along a couple of times. After repositioning it slightly, it remained in place without any problems. It's definitely worth having a test run before heading straight out onto the motorway! Can't comment on durability at this stage, but appears to be pretty sturdy/well made.

Good
Used it on a Volvo xc60, it didnt fit perfectly, particularly the bottom straps, but was still stable and Ok, we used it for one bike for a 5 hour journey and it was fine. We used our own straps aswell to make sure the bike was secure on the rack.

Pretty cheap
Not the most secure rack on the car to be honest for 2 bikes

Would recommend
Easy to setup and use (compared to one bought years ago). Took 2 bikes on the back of a Ford Focus with only 5 minutes setup time.

Got back safely from Norwich to Birmingham
Bought this as a replacement for a very old earlier version. The earlier model seems to have more structure and versatility than this newer option. This new design did seem a bit less flexible and not as robust on my current car. That said, it did do tge job it was bought for
