Poorly Designed and Difficult to Use
I’ve had a frustrating experience with the Lovo Drum Charcoal BBQ due to several design and usability issues: Charcoal Tray Flaws: The gaps between the bars in the charcoal tray are too wide, causing charcoal to fall through to the bottom. This not only wastes fuel but also makes the BBQ body dangerously hot. Shallow Charcoal Depth: The tray is too shallow, so charcoal doesn’t stay in place and drops down easily. No Ash Removal System: There’s no proper mechanism or tray to remove ash after use, making cleanup very difficult. No Handle for Mobility: Although the BBQ has wheels, there’s no handle to move it around, which makes it awkward and inconvenient to reposition. Heavy and Hard to Manage: The BBQ is quite heavy, and without a handle or proper grip points, it’s hard to move or store. Workaround Required: I had to buy special foil to cover the charcoal tray just to keep the charcoal in place—something that should not be necessary with a well-designed product. Overall, this BBQ feels like it was not properly tested for real-world use. I wouldn’t recommend it unless these design flaws are addressed.

The supplier has advised the following for the Lovo Drum Charcoal BBQ:
"The coal is meant to go underneath the first rack and sit on the lower cooking grill. No it is not advisable to put the bowl in the bottom of the drum, if the lower cooking grill is damaged or missing, it’s time to buy a new BBQ".

Lovo Drum Charcoal BBQ ,you'll need to remove all the grills and charcoal after use. The ash remains at bottom of the chamber, so you can then empty and clean the ash away.

Sadly, no. It is recommended that you soak the cooking grill in hot soapy water as soon as possible after use. Dry thoroughly and store in a dry place.

The supplier has advised the following for the Lovo Drum Charcoal BBQ:
The cooking grill of this it has an "enamelling" surface coating and it is made under conditions of around 800C, so it won’t easily melt away from the surface. As long as the item is well cared for and used in the manner for which it is designed, it's not likely to come off the metal and should last a good while.

The Coal rack and grills sit on the supports when both lids are open if both side are required for cooking. after use you need to remove all of the grills and coal rack to clean in soapy water, then store all in a dry place for later use. The double grill is not designed to fold over while still set up for use.
