Nice design but not very good quality.
Had to replace due to damage out of the box - extreme faff. When put together screws cause MDF to bulge and it's noticeable. Picked up wrong screw and put it in the magnet hole and it came through the front of the door! Would it be so more expensive to make the door and bits that take screws a couple of mm thicker? Every corner cut to make as cheap as possible. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

Hello Katie. I have taken a look at the instructions for building the Argos Home Tongue & Groove Single Storage Unit. The parts are stated with measurements and I can advise that the gap at the top of the unit is approximately 26cm. I hope this helps.

Yes, the Home Tongue & Groove Single Storage Unit - Grey can be freestanding however we do recommend that, with the unit being over 60 cms high, it is fixed to a wall to prevent toppling over.
