Bought to replace a cheap smartwatch, and is a great upgrade. Easy to use, battery is ok given the use it gets, and plenty of watch face choice. Bought in Black Friday promo, certainly a bargain but not sure I’d pay full price for this over a more basic model unless you need the extra features.

The standard Garmin Forerunner 165 does not have Wi-Fi only the Music Edition has this feature, which can be connected through the watchs settings or the Garmin Connect app.

You must connect your watch to the Garmin Connect app on your phone or to the Garmin Express application on your computer before you can connect to a Wi‑Fi network.
1 Hold UP.
2 Select Connectivity > Wi-Fi > My Networks > Search for Networks.
3 Select a network.
4 If necessary, enter the password for the network.
The watch connects to the network, and the network is added to the list of saved networks. The watch
reconnects to this network automatically when it is within range.
