For safety I suppose but bit disappointing
Bought this for my 21 month old grandson. He does play with it but it has a very short cord attaching the handset to the phone. No doubt this is for safety reasons but when he picks the receiver up the whole phone comes with it. So not his favourite toy.

Not played with as much as we thought!
Bought for my granddaughter and although she does use it less frequently than I thought she would, the reason for this is that if the phone is on the floor she can’t put the handset to her ear as the string/wire? Is too short but I think this is probably for safety reasons, might be better if the handset wasn’t attached and it just clicked into place on the body of the phone?!?!?!
