About this product
The Argos Home Minato Slim Chest helps you organise your bedroom and keep things tidy with six easy-slide drawers. There are two half-width drawers up top for socks, underwear or accessories, plus four full-width ones for folded clothes. The smooth white finish suits a range of bedroom styles, and the flat top gives you space for a lamp, photos or a mirror. Metal drawer runners make opening and closing simple and reliable.
Dark metal handles with an antique-style finish add detail and contrast nicely with the white surface. The drawers glide smoothly on metal runners that handle daily use. The slim profile works well in tighter bedrooms without taking up too much floor space. Wall fixings are included to secure the unit safely. Self-assembly required with two people recommended for easier handling.

A little disappointed to be honest
I have just finished building this chest of drawers. Looking at it, it’s very pretty and is just what we wanted for the third bedroom we are doing up. Instructions were ok and easy to follow. Quality the components look to be very good on the whole. However, the left front leg pillars was quite badly warped which took a bit of lateral thinking to correct. The last fault, which annoyed me the most, were the two central dowel holes on the cabinet top, or possibly the two holes holding the dowels below the top, appear to be too shallow as when I fitted the top the dowels very nearly broke through the upper surface. What they have left is two raised areas with star cracks on the white melamine upper layer. I ended up having to remove the two offending dowels to get the top to fit correctly. After taking my time to ensure it all went together without issue, the final assembly phase, in my mind, has ruined it. It was all going so well. Everything else seems aligned and the draws didn’t need adjusting and work smoothly and easily, although the whole chest does wobble slightly, and is not as rigid as I’d like. I don’t think the two removed dowels have caused this problem so would be interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar issue? The Argos online purchasing via the App was flawless as usual so no concerns there and delivery was as advertised. Just a little disappointed 😞
