Hi, I can confirm this 100 fits an original ps5. I have a disc version from day 1 release and it fits perfectly, it comes with an adapter that you need to use.
The Vertical Stand is compatible with both the PS5 CFI-1000 model group and PS5 CFI-2000 model group.
The PS5 CFI-1000 model group includes the original PlayStation 5 disc and digital edition consoles.
Whereas, the PS5 CFI-2000 model group includes the most recent slim PlayStation 5 disc and digital edition consoles.
