A Comfortable and Efficient Typing Experience
The Apple Magic Keyboard came as described and has been the perfect temporary solution while dealing with loose butterfly keys on my 2017 MacBook Pro 15”. Having used the Magic Keyboard before in the design industry, I knew it would meet my expectations far better than a third-party alternative. I love the firmness of the keys, the sleek and clean design, and its compact size. The keys respond well with each press, delivering a smooth typing experience. The long battery life is another standout feature, ensuring uninterrupted productivity without the need for frequent charging. It also works seamlessly with my HP ProBook work laptop, which is a bonus since I find its built-in keyboard uncomfortable to use after a while. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and aesthetically pleasing keyboard.

Product as expected
Apple product arrived in store, easy to collect. Product as expected. Had to wait a few days for it to arrive in store, luckily there are plenty of car parking spaces at Speke Retail Park. Any questions about Apple products staff at Apple stores are very helpful.

Fine, but not fully functional
Purchased to replace a broken keyboard. Types fine, but the charger is not compatible with the ports in my 10 year old imac. An annoying Apple ploy to force you into even more spending. The function keys also do not work (volume up switches screens etc), but possibly down to my older mac. There seems to be no way to alter them either, but at least the rest of it works.

The apple keyboard. Can’t beat them!
Got this about a month ago. Used other k/ boards previously they don’t come anywhere like apple gear. Plenty of features shortcuts etc. no stiffness on buttons clear flow like typing on air. I recommend this product.

Hi there
From the information we have available, I can advise the compatibility of the Apple Magic Keyboard with older macOS versions can be an issue. The latest generation of Apple Magic Keyboards typically requires macOS 11.3 or later. This means that if you're using an older operating system, some of the function keys and features might not work properly.
For older macOS versions, you might want to consider using an earlier model of the Apple Magic Keyboard, such as the A1644 or A1314 models, which are known to work with macOS versions as far back as macOS 10.12.43. Alternatively, you could look into third-party keyboards that are compatible with older macOS versions.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Student,
From the information we have available, I can advise the Apple Magic Keyboard is not specifically designed for the iPad 6th Gen (9.7-inch, model A1893). The Magic Keyboard is primarily compatible with newer iPad models, such as the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
However, you can use any third-party Bluetooth keyboard with your iPad 6th Gen.
Thank you for using Q and A
