stylish chrome finish
bought last week, a replacement for an older pedal bin, I am pleased with it, it doess the job efficiently, and looks clean and tidy. the pedal means you have 2 hands to work with, no need to lift the lid. Only 2 in our household so the capacity is enough for us.

Faulty soft closing mechanism
The soft closing mechanism does not work. The lid slams down with gusto every time you release the pedal. Since I ordered it to a local Sainsbury's store for collection, I cannot simply "bring it back for an exchange", so I have decided to ignore the slamming and keep the faulty bin. It annoys me very much, so I will probably start looking for a new bin soon.
