Habitat Pedal Bin - Not Impressed
Opened this on returning home, all packaging was good but when I stood it on the floor to try it, immediately I took my foot off the pedal the lid slammed shut so there was NO staying open fully for a split second, and NO soft close function so obvious there was a fault somewhere. I checked it over to see if I had missed something I needed to adjust to get it to work properly but nothing there. Needless to say I got onto Argos online to request a refund, but then had the inconvenience of having to return the item which was not ideal. No fault of Argos of course, and I did get my money back in good time. Overall though, aside from this bin not working properly I did feel it was a bit lightweight, cheap feeling with a flimsy lid, so from my point of view I wouldn't recommend.
