About this product
Toast for the whole family exactly how they like it. The Cookworks 4 Slice Toaster offers 1900W of power and seven adjustable browning levels, handling four slices at once with wide slots that fit thick farmhouse bread, crumpets and bagels. Independent slot operation lets you toast different settings simultaneously, while defrost, reheat and cancel functions give control whether cooking from frozen or warming up. The brushed stainless steel finish looks smart on any worktop, and the high-lift function makes it easy to grab smaller slices without burning your fingers.

Nice looking and performs well
We have had this toaster for a few weeks now and are very pleased with it. It looks really smart, we were concerned that the stainless steel finish would show finger marks, but this hasn't been a problem and any marks are easily removed with a soft cloth. Its toasting performance is very good, both sides of the bread are equally browned and it handles crumpets well. I have taken a star off because it doesn't have as many levels of browning as some toasters do although we have found that using setting 4 suits us most of the time. It is very easy to use, the levers don't require much pressure and the buttons are large enough for my fingers. In our opinion this toaster performs just as well as more expensive models, so it is great alue.

Very good
Second one of these I've bought as one first is still going very well. Only issue was with website and lack of clarity re same day availability in store having a cut off time as being delivered from another store.

Good toaster for price
Looks good. Definitely follow instructions to use a few times while empty to burn off the ‘new’ smell.left hand side seems to brown more than the right but not not a problem, just have to remember!

Consistency
My old toaster died and I needed a replacement. It hadn’t been the most reliable from a perspective of browning consistency. I did some research, took a note of Which reviews and took the plunge with the 4 slice Argus toaster. So far, delighted with the control and results, no complaints and, very good value for money.

Hi Moggy,
Thanks for your query about the Cookworks 4 Slice Toaster - Stainless Steel.
You cannot use each of the four slots individually. They’re paired up so you can use the left pair or the right pair separately. This would allow you to do just two pieces of toast at the same time and to choose which side you wish to use.
We cannot comment on how this might work or help with any medical conditions though; we’d advise to seek proper, qualified medical advice on that before considering using the appliance.
Thanks for using Q&A.
