About this product
This laptop gives your child their own space for homework, creative projects and games. The 7-colour screen displays documents, calendars and activities clearly. It includes a real optical mouse and QWERTY keyboard that prepare them for future computer use. Wi-Fi connectivity opens up online research when you approve it. The pre-loaded word processor helps them write their first documents independently. It is designed for ages 5 and up as a first computer experience.
The diary, clock and calendar apps encourage forward planning and time management. Art Studio and templates let them create greetings cards and letters. Games make learning feel like playtime while building new skills. A rechargeable battery is included so it works straight from the box. The compact 17cm height fits neatly on a child's desk or travels easily. This laptop grows with your child from early writing practise to more complex creative projects.

Proper key board
Bought this for my 6 years olds birthday. It's not overly complicated but as a first proper looking computer with many attributes it will take him a bit of time to negotiate but I'm happy with the educational side to it. There's also games so it has a fun element. The size is good too, general all round good purchase for a 6 year old I'd say

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Vtech Genio My First Laptop Max.
There are 40+ games and apps playable without Wi-Fi connection but Wi-Fi is required to access the web browser (following parental authorisation) and to get additional apps from the VTech download store, Learning Lodge.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for tech Genio My First Laptop Max.
For the Genio Max laptop, it has a secure web browser with parental controls that allows access to specific website with parental approval.
It cannot be connected to a printer, but has a micro SD card slot giving you the ability to save and export all of your creations and documents. This will allow you to print from a different computer. Micro SD card is not included with the laptop.
