Customers Say
Portable and easy-to-use blender praised for smoothies, shakes, and soups. Battery life and blade sharpness often criticized; jams with frozen fruit and ice. Good for single servings, compact, and easy to clean.

Okay but drives me crazy sometimes
Got this as a gift and it was splendid at first it really is portable but god does it frustrate me it always always gets stuck does not work with frozen fruit at all even if I’ve left it to sit out a bit it’s constantly getting jammed I have to unjam it about eight times myself before it works. Even with fresh fruit it gets jammed too sometimes. Also The battery life is terrible and the blade is not sharp enough. Making a smoothie should take 5 minutes but instead here I am minute 55 waiting for it to go lukewarm so it can blend okay.

Game changer!
Wow! This is a game changer. I love it. As soon as I received it, I made soup and haven't stopped using it yet. More soup and fantastic for pasta sauces etc. Love the fact that you can add raw chicken. I told a friend about it and she bought one too.

Great features
I bought this for myself after buying one for a friend. I love it! It's great for making smoothies. It blends really well and the consistency is just right. Great for carrying around with you and for taking in the car just take the base along and have your drinks on the go. The battery has a good life. I have been getting 3 smoothies made before needing to charge again. The cup seals really well so there's no leakage. Just remember to turn the machine upside down before removing it from the base to seal the base of the cup. Overall a great gadget for on the go drinks.

Great Appliance
Brilliant appliance, it’s neat and compact but very sturdy, easy to clean and great for shakes, blending, and meal prep, hiding veg in sauces for kiddies.

Superb
I purchased this on special offer and got blue light discount as an extra offer. I use this 3 times s day for my protein shakes. It's so easy to use and even easier to clean. It blends my shakes so quickly and efficiently. I can't believe I got such a brilliant item at such a cheap price.

Great blender
This blender is quiet and quite powerful. Holds enough capacity for one person and has made blending quick and easy compared to my other blender. Simple charge that lasts quite a long time.

The Blast Blender features a blending vessel made from BPA-free plastic, not glass. This material is designed for durability and safety while keeping the unit lightweight and portable.
Yes, you can definitely make milkshakes with the Ninja Blast Cordless Portable Blender. It’s designed to blend a variety of ingredients smoothly, including ice and frozen fruits, making it perfect for whipping up milkshakes on the go.
The Blast Portable Blender is designed to create a variety of delicious treats, including smoothies, silky protein shakes, and frozen slushies. While it is capable of handling frozen fruits and ice, it's important to note that it is not specifically designed to process hard ingredients like seeds or nuts, such as almonds for almond milk. Using it for that purpose may place a strain on the motor and could potentially affect the performance or longevity of the unit.
Hello Willow,
I can advise the following for the Ninja BC151UKNV Blast Portable Hand Blender - Blue:
Apologies, this doesn't finely chop almonds to be able to make milk.
Thanks for using Q & A.
One option to clean this unit is to rinse the vessel out with water to remove excess contents. Fill the vessel to the MIN LIQUID (175 ml) line with water and add a small drop of dish soap. Secure the lid back on and press the Start/Stop button for easy cleaning. For a deeper clean, both the vessel and the sip lid are top-rack dishwasher safe. These dishwasher-safe parts should not be cleaned with a heated cycle. The motor base can then be cleaned by running the blades under water and using a dishwashing utensil with a handle to scrub the blades. The motor base is NOT dishwasher safe; HOWEVER, the USB-C charging port on the back of the motor base is water-resistant, which means it can get wet but CANNOT be submerged in water. After cleaning, just make sure the charging port is dry before charging.
Hello! This model is the BC151UKNV, which is the Ninja Blast in the Denim Blue colour and the BC151UKBK is the Ninja Blast in the Black colour.
Hi Gem, yes this Ninja does blend ice, but please ensure there is some liquid in the blender at the same time.
Hi Adz, yes, you can keep the unit in the fridge. The base can be removed from the blending cup if you have any concerns about it. Kind regards, Ninja Kitchen UK
I’ve left mine in the fridge every night for 4 months with no problems & in a cool bag with ice blocks at work.
Hi Sony, this Ninja is close to 180w at peak battery power.
Hi Ella,
Yes, the Ninja BC151UKNV Blast Portable Hand Blender does come with a cap for the cup/vessel. This allows you to separate it from the blender base and take your drink on the go. The package includes a vessel cap and a blade cover for safe storage after blending.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hi JJ, this would depend on the type of yoghurt used. We'd advise using another liquid up to the minimum liquid line to ensure proper blending.
