The Salisbury Leather 2 Seater Sofa gives you classic style with practical comfort for two. Italian semi aniline leather wraps a sturdy frame, with a subtle distressed finish that develops character over time. The decorative scroll arms add a traditional touch, while wide wooden feet lift the sofa clear of the floor. It's a compact two-seater that works in living rooms where space matters.
Pocket sprung foam seats keep their shape through daily use, and fibre-filled back cushions provide support without constant adjusting. The leather needs specialist cleaning to stay looking its best, but you can plump the cushions regularly to maintain their shape. Minimal assembly required, just attach the wooden feet. Backed by a 10 year frame guarantee covering manufacturing faults.

I bought this for my elderly father , it has nice high arms to help him up and it is very comfy and solid. The cushions are sewn in so they don't slip off. Th3 18" hight from the floor to the cushion was just right and old one was to low down.

Nice but!
Bought two of these sofas.never had aniline leather before.very comfortable and soft but very easily marked and scratched which I tried removing with no success.have ordered a protection cream to see if that helps. Not suitable for a busy house or with animals.

Second time around
This is the second time I’ve bought this item, moving home so thought we’d have new, pleased with the item but thought “ chocolate” would’ve been darker brown, but it’s fine really, had the tan colour last time.

Back rail high – 74 cm, total high – 90 cm, the 84 cm height of the sofa in its packaging, the cushions are compressed during the packaging process but are not detachable.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salisbury Leather 2 Seater Sofa - Tan: ''The cushions cannot be removed, so the total height of the sofa includes the cushions. However, the cushions are 47 cm high, so if the customer wants to calculate the height of the backrest, should subtract the 47 cm of the cushions, but again, they are not removable.''

I can advise the following for the Argos Home Salisbury Leather 2 Seater Sofa - Chocolate:
Leather in which the base coat of the finish contains pigment but later coats contain only dye, or a contrasting pigment, to give a two tone appearance. Generally semi aniline leather is more durable than full aniline leather however it can still be damaged by spillages and soiling.

We would recommend hitting the cushions on the sides to work air into the fillings, then smooth out left and right, then up and down then diagonally from the centre to plump the cushions.
