Bought this bluetooth speaker a month ago to play all my LP'S & CD'S which I have transferred to a solid state external hard drive and play through my PC.The set up so easy and the sound is fantastic from the bass and treble with great instrument sound separation.Highly recommend for ease of set,sound and app operation.

The speaker is powered by mains electricity so it needs to be plugged in. It does not have a battery. It is a Bluetooth speaker so can play music wirelessly, or via a 3.5mm aux cable.

The Marshall Acton III Home Speaker does have next-generation Bluetooth 5.2 and the 3.5 mm input, connecting to your speaker and listening to your music has never been so effortless. Download and connect to the Marshall Bluetooth app to access advanced settings and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
There is no mention of this speaker being able to connect to Alexa.
