This stainless steel canopy hood offers 4 fan speeds and powerful extraction that quickly clears steam and cooking smells, so you can focus on getting your dish just right. It's fitted with 2 LED lights that illuminate your hob with clear, detailed lighting, and works in both extraction and recirculation modes. Washable grease filter cassettes mean easy maintenance, and a charcoal filter is included for recirculation use. It fits against the wall with an adjustable height range to suit your kitchen, and comes with 2 grease filter cassettes plus a 2 year parts and labour guarantee.

The filter panel is default
I noticed the grease filter panel is default, the string inside the mounting clip is not placed correctly leading to incapability to take out the panel. Default product and I would like a replacement of the filter panel.

Nicely designed, excellent quality.
We wanted an integrated extractor that was practically invisible and this was the perfect solution. It also works efficiently although perhaps more loudly than anticipated. Not a problem once we got used to it.

Only downside is the installation instructions are not clear and there isn’t a relevant installation video to accompany the product which makes installation difficult. The power cable could also be a bit longer.

GREAT EXTRACTOR
Discrete and quiet in use - nothing sticks out or detracts from the cooking/hob area. My husband is tall and so he doesn't bump his head. Those classic cooker hoods just don't work for him. A hazard for your eyes and head if you are tall.

We’re sorry to hear that your extractor fan is noisier than expected. Below are some steps you can take to reduce operating noise and ensure the hood is performing as intended:
Check the Installation
Excess noise is often caused by incorrect or incomplete installation.
Ensure the hood is securely fixed and not vibrating against cabinetry.
Verify that all screws and mounting brackets are tightened.
Make sure there is no gap between the hood and the cabinet that could amplify sound.
Inspect the Ducting
The ducting has a major impact on noise levels.
Use smooth, rigid ducting instead of flexible ducting, as this significantly reduces turbulence and noise.
Keep the duct as short and straight as possible.
Avoid sharp bends; each bend increases airflow resistance and sound.
Ensure the duct diameter meets the hood’s specifications (usually 150 mm). A reduction in diameter will increase noise.
Clean or Replace the Filters
Blocked filters force the motor to work harder.
Clean metal grease filters (dishwasher safe).
If you use charcoal filters (recirculation mode), ensure they are replaced every 3–6 months depending on usage.
Check the Motor and Fan Impeller
Ensure nothing is obstructing the fan blades.
If the hood has become noisier over time, accumulated grease may cause imbalance; cleaning can help.
Make Sure the Hood Is Operating in the Correct Mode
If you are using recirculation mode, ensure charcoal filters are installed correctly.
If using extraction mode, ensure the flap that directs airflow is fully open.
Use Lower Speeds When Maximum Power Isn’t Necessary
Higher speeds naturally generate more noise.
For everyday cooking, speed 1 or 2 is usually sufficient.
If the sound resembles grinding, rattling, or vibration even after the checks above, the unit may require inspection.

Steps to Remove the Metal Cover and Filters
Turn Off the Hood
Ensure the appliance is switched off and completely cool before starting.
Locate the Metal Cover
The cover is the flat stainless-steel panel underneath the hood.
Remove the Metal Cover
Grip the front edge of the cover firmly.
Pull it downwards and slightly towards you.
It is held in place by spring clips, so you’ll feel some resistance before it releases.
Access and Remove the Grease Filters
Behind the cover, you’ll see the aluminium grease filters.
Press the release handle on each filter and tilt it down to remove.
These filters are dishwasher-safe or can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
Reassemble
Once the filters are dry, reinsert them and push the metal cover back until it clicks into place.

The user manual indicates this light should be on when the Hob2Hood function is in action.
