This Lindam by Munchkin Self Closing Pressure Fit baby stair gate or dog stair gate is designed for use in doorways or at the bottom of the stairs. The four-point pressure-fit frame means the universal gate does not require drilling to the wall, but provides a solid pressure fitting when in-position. The extra-wide baby gate is practical, closes itself automatically, and with a double lock even the most adventurous explorer won't be able to open it.

Exactly as advertised
Bought for visits of itgrandchildren so only occasionally used and needs to be simple to put up and take away, which it is. Door self closing is very effective.

Good temporary stair gate.
Works well as a temporary stair gate especially if you don’t want to drill it to the wall. Reasonably secure but don’t put too much pressure on it or it might come off. I would recommend using a small pad to protect the wall and paintwork.

Great stair gate
Bought this for the bottom of the stairs to stop our dog going up when the grandchildren come to stay. Easy to put up and take down when not in use. Auto close feature also really good.

Good, but be sure you really want self-closing
The gate works really well and is very easy to set up. However the auto-closing is a mixed blessing. It means you can’t really leave it open when the little one isn’t in, or if you need to carry something past it in two hands.

Safety first
This is a very easy gate to fit. It has an extra feature which is that there is a magnetic section that ensures the gate closes firmly. To open you need only to release the top release and lift a little too clear the magnetic on the bottom of the frame.

Excellent stair gate
What a lovely stair gate, does exactly what is needed. The auto close is a god send, especially with a 16month old running around and an obsession with stairs. Easy to assemble and fit. Adjustable for many doorways. Be lost without it.

Loud but otherwise great
My old stair gate for my toddler is on its last leg, especially as she's figured out how to open it from the bottom. This one is a much better upgrade but I have a couple of small complaints with it. 1) Loud when self closing, bit of a clunk, not sure I'd put it on a bedroom door due to the noise 2) Difficult to align, I think this is just an issue with my stairs being slightly wider, but honestly trying to screw each one of the 4 screws can be such a pain when trying to get them all even Apart from those small issues, does the job and easy to use.

Perfect stair gate
Perfect stair gate! Self closes opens with just one hand and fits to door perfectly and with ease no drilling or screws required. Recommend this for anyone with a child starting to move around to help keep them safe

Great stair gate but self closing too loud
Great stair gate which does exactly as it says, but unfortunately the self closing for us is way too loud! It comes packaged well with everything you need to put together in one box and easily labelled with simple instructions. It was easy to figure out how to put together but I had to get my husband to help with the tightening of the screws to make the catches meet. It's a great size and looks fantastic in the doorway, but when in its place we can't close the door, even slightly. It comes with protective pads to protect the door frame which is fantastic. It is easy to open even one handedly, but complicated enough for our toddler not to be able to figure out. The self closing seemed a great addition to the stair gate unfortunately as wonderful that it is that you don't have to worry about closing it behind you, it makes the loudest noise whilst closing. We were originally going to use this on our toddlers bedroom door, but now can't as it's so loud that it would definitely wake her. It would be a brilliant gate if the noise could be quietened, but this lets this gate down for us. I also feel that it does close very fast and could be an issue if a little one was standing close by. Luckily it can be extended with the pressure screws so will fit on another door elsewhere.

No this fits openings from 76 to 82cm as standard. Since your stairway opening is 91 cm, you will need extensions to make it fit properly.

Yes you can purchase 2 x 14cm extensions as long as you fit one either side of the gate.
