The four-point pressure-fit frame means the universal gate does not require drilling to the wall, but provides a solid pressure fitting when in position. Too easy to open!
Easy to install however my 2 year old figured out how to open the gate in 2 days so ultimately this gate is now pointless and doesn’t do its job

Yes, the Safety Gate can be taken down and reinstalled as needed. As long as you reinstall it in the same doorway and use the wall cups provided, the locking mechanism should align properly each time you set it up.

The Munchkin Lindam Easy Lock Safety Gate, cannot be locked permanent, only close locked with the ability to open with one hand, pushing down on the gate lock.
