The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones combine world-class noise cancellation and spatialised audio for immersive listening that places sound in front of you. Custom Tune technology analyses your ears and adapts audio to their shape, so every track hits as it should. Protein leather ear pieces and an adjustable headband keep you comfortable during long sessions, while the premium design feels elevated from the moment you put them on.
Active noise cancellation blocks distractions so you can focus, and bass control lets you fine-tune sound to match your mood. Bluetooth pairs easily with your mobile, tablet or laptop, with a wireless range up to 9.14m. Fast charging gets you back to listening quickly, with a full charge taking about 150 minutes. Button controls on the ear cup allow easy playback and call management. The detachable cable offers wired flexibility with 3.5mm and 2.5mm jack options, and the included carry case protects everything on the move. A 0.5m USB-C charging cable is also included.

Terrific headphones
Had them a few days and love them. The sound is incredible although I did have to adjust the base and treble to my liking. I have not used the noise canceling in anger yet but on testing they seem to work incredibly well. Solid build quality tops them off.

The 2.5mm jack port wasn't such a good idea!!
I've no doubt these headphones would have made an interesting listen, if only I'd have got that far! I returned them! The instructions state to use the supplied audio cable if you want to listen to a 'lossless' format. That's fine, but what isn't so fine is that the supplied audio cable is of very poor quality! So, you're thinking, why not replace the audio cable with a better quality one? Here's the barmy bit! The supplied audio cable is a 2.5mm male to 3.5mm male jack cable, with the 2.5mm end connecting to the port on the headphone earcup. Try getting one of those cables?! The only one I found was the Atlas Zeno Custom Headphone Cable at £388.50 a metre!! Which does then push these headphones way outside of my price range. Shame really, because they do appear to be well built, and they are very comfortable. As I didn't break the security seal on the box of mine (luckily I had found out about the connectivity issues beforehand), I have not listened to, or used the features on, these headphones. So, to be fair, in my review I have awarded 3 stars where applicable to these.

Nice comfortable well made headphones
Very good headphones, comfortable, nicely made and quality feel. Sound quality is as expected from Bose but still getting use to noise cancellation mode which is very good but takes a bit of getting use to.

I deliberated about this purchase, not cheap. However, they are amazing. Buttery soft and light on my head. Covers my whole ear in comfort. The sound is amazing, crisp and clear. I'm able to switch between totall emersion to sidelining the world which is great for sitting it the world to needing to be aware of my surroundings

It comes with a USB cable for charging but it does not come with any mains adaptor. You'd need to use a separate, suitably compatible adaptor plug with it.

If the TV supports audio over bluetooth, yes, you may also need to check to see if it can support over bluetooth as well as TV speakers if using in a way for people that are hard of hearing.
