The Sony SRS-XB100 is a super-compact Bluetooth speaker that delivers surprisingly powerful sound wherever you need it. With a full-range speaker and passive radiator working together, the low-end tones get a real boost, so you hear proper bass depth despite its pocket-friendly size. The Sound Diffusion Processor spreads audio in all directions rather than just forward, which means everyone around you gets the same quality whether you're at the beach, in the park, or just moving between rooms at home.
At 9.5cm across and powered by 5 watts, this speaker packs 16 hours of battery life on a single charge, lasting through long days out or weekends away. It's IP67 rated, fully waterproof and dustproof, with a UV coating to prevent fading even in bright sunshine. Charging is via USB-C, and a battery status indicator shows when it needs topping up. Good Sound quality, but low battery and volume.
I bought it a month ago. Sound quality is good, however, too low sometimes, even when the music volume is at maximum (my previous speakers were all fine with that), and the battery doesn’t last very long. Overall, it’s a good product but not the best for the price range.

I had the model before the SRS-XB100, the SRS-XB13, in comparison clarity is much better, at high volumes the music isn’t distorted and for a small in size speaker it certainly packs a decent enough punch. For the price it’s well worth buying.

Excellent speakers, great volume and clear sound.
Brought two XB100 speakers for home use. Use the larger XB23 for work, so knew the excellent quality. The XB100 are easy to connect to my android phone either using the phone's bluetooth or using the Sony Music Centre app. Volume is more than enough, tried just one speaker on full volume for about two minutes and my ears were ringing for a good five minutes afterwards. Sound is crisp and clear for both music and audio books. Quick to charge and once batteries are fully charged last for hours. Definitely a good buy.
