Love this little speaker!
This is a great little speaker. The sound is quite powerful, given it's size, and the strap makes it easy to take round with me while I'm moving about, or I can easily hang it or put it on a flat surface. It was really easy to get it charged and it paired with my phone and iPad immediately. An extra thing I like, but need to get used to, is that it remains connected to my device even after I've turned the programme or station off, whereas my old JBL would turn off after a few minutes. It means I must remember to turn it off if, for instance, I'm going out or going to bed, but on the plus side, it means its ready to start listening to something else, after a gap of 20 mins or so, without having to reconnect it. Not sure about the turquoise, I would have preferred the orange but it wasn't in stock and it's not really important. It's just started flashing to say it needs another power boost, but I've been listening to it for a couple of weeks now, so that feels like a good chunk of time between recharging.

I selected the Sony speaker because Sony have never let me down. They did not let me down. It's a brilliant speaker, clear, loud enough for personal listening around the house. I'm sure it will work in the garden. I have not tested the range but it seems to be as described. I was particularly impressed with the pairing experience. It virtually paired itself.
