Had another major brand for the last 10 years but when the charger when bang for a second time we have opted for this Samsung, and I must say, we are very impressed, quieter, lighter and seemingly more powerful .

I have found this so much easier to use than my baby dyson. So far the head hasn't got clogged with hair. I bought it after I had helped my mother choose a new hoover and got her the same model.

I upgraded my old Samsung handheld Hoover which was great this blows it out of the water battery is amazing I can do my whole house full power on all my carpets and medium on all my wood floor the small attachment for my stairs is fantastic pulls everything up highly recommend!!!

Absolutely atrocious DO NOT BUY
Poor Poor performance Battery run time no where near the hour stated, normal standard use will get you 20 mins if lucky, save your money and buy a cheap one as performance will be the same Going to go to trading standard ls as they are falsely advertising and mis selling the product Only tried it for 5 mins when delivered today and I'm shocked on how bad the battery is considering the brand they really need to do better. Would potentially take 3 charges to do our average sized 4 bed house!! Would give 0 stars

1* - Vacuum out of action for 3 days every month
The performance of this vacuum certainly deserves 5 stars. So why am I only giving 1 star? Read on.... I used the Samsung trade-in scheme to buy the Jet85 Pet vacuum. The battery on my old vacuum (not a Samsung) had come to the end of its life and could not be replaced. The trade-in was a good deal and very easy to arrange ✅ The Jet85 is a very good build quality ✅, great battery life ✅, not too loud ✅, quick to charge ✅, easy to clean ✅ and absolutely brilliant suction ✅. It really cleans deep into carpets and manages to extract any sand or soil embedded in the fibres ✅. Even my plug-in hoover wasn't that good. So, what's my gripe? Well, I vacuum my house every morning. Not a 'deep' clean but a spin around the floors upstairs and downstairs. First though, I always vacuum my mattress. This is all really effective in reducing dust allergens, and the HEPA filter does a brilliant job. Since I bought my Samsung vacuum in January 2025, I've set a reminder on my phone to prompt me to wash the two filters (Part #3 Washable Micro Filter & Part #7 Fine Dust Filter), and thoroughly clean the machine on 22nd of each month. It keeps the machine in great shape, but here lies the problem.... The two filters take at least 3 days to dry (apparently, they must not be dried in sunlight), so I am without the machine for 3 days every month. If the filters feel dry after 2 days and are reassembled, any slight moisture still remaining will cause the error message "Clogged". The filters must be removed once again and left to dry for a 3rd day. I set about trying to buy an extra set of filters. They are not identified by any individual part number in the manual or anywhere else, so the vacuum title and model number is all you have to go on. Part #3 is not shown at all on the Samsung website. There are three items which look like Part #7 (each a different colour). However, once you check the specs you find that they fit models VS20A & VS20B - my machine is VS20C. On another website selling Samsung spares, there are four types of filter Part #3 with wildly differing prices. Trying to relate that part to your particular model is anyone's guess as there is no common reference number to refer to. There is no sign of anything resembling filter Part #7. Any attempt to enter the vacuum model number into the search box results in "not found". In total there are 213 Samsung filter items listed, but nothing matches the 2 I need. In conclusion, I am very happy with the Jet85 Pet vacuum and it really deserves 5 stars for performance. However, I am really annoyed that two essential filters are not available. Not only does that mean I'm without a vacuum for 3 days every month - if the filters ever break or malfunction it would mean that the vacuum would become useless and have to be scrapped. This appears to be deliberate "built in obsolescence" by Samsung, who presumably would expect customers just to cough up and buy a brand new machine. (I'm old enough to remember the corny joke about the man who changed his car when the ashtray needed emptying). Sorry, Samsung. It's all very well showing us glossy promo video clips filled with technical jargon and all the latest AI slop (yawn). Please - just make it easier to navigate your site, to find the parts customers should have a reasonable expectation of finding, for a machine which is still currently being offered for sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great design, performance so far so good. However, it's let down by the battery. Will need to charge for 3hrs, but the max usage is 28 mis on the low setting and only 6 for highest setting.

The Samsung Jet 85 Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is ideal for pet hair. It has not been tested for hair longer than pet hair.
