About this product
Not every staircase or doorway measures exactly the same. This 7cm extension piece helps you get the right fit when a standard gate width doesn't quite match your space. It works with Lindam by Munchkin pressure-fit gates (apart from the Extra Tall model) and clips on to extend the span. You can combine multiple extensions to cover openings up to 114cm wide, depending on which gate you're using.
The silver finish matches the Easy Loc Silver gate, so it blends in rather than looking like an add-on. It's a straightforward fix when your opening is a bit wider than the base gate allows. Measure from the narrowest point (usually skirting to skirting) before you order, so you know exactly how many extensions you'll need. Once fitted, it holds as firmly as the gate itself, giving you a secure barrier that suits your home's layout without compromise.

I was so delighted at this extension bar, over the moon, cock a hoop! It has a purpose and is designed for exactly that. Ends pop off the gate easy enough and this then clips in. What more can I say.

The Lindam 7cm Pressure Fit Universal Safety Gate Extension can be used to extend the gate up to 89 cm or 96 cm or 112 cm. By using two 7 cm extensions the gate will be suitable for gaps measuring 96 cm so a gap of 92 cm may not be suitable. The extension can not be reduced in size.
