Weighing in at 14.4 lbs. , this portable PA system is 1 lb. Lighter than the original, and features na ergonomic carry handle. Integrated 3-channel mixer features two channels for microphones and instruments and one dedicated to music playback. Intuitive rotating OLED displays for each channel make it easy to access independent EQ, reverb, and ToneMatch controls, among other settings.
When no power source is available, the rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 11 hours of play time on a single charge. Four positioning options means the speaker adapts to the moment. Place it vertically, tilted back, horizontally, or on a stand (compatible with standard 35 mm mounts). Auto EQ ensures the best sound in any orientation.

Brilliant Compact Amp
Bought this s few weeks ago having experienced it's fantastic features at a family get together party and Karaoke! I just had to have one for my Karaoke business! So far I am very happy with the Bose and may well add some more accessories to this Bluetooth system!

Words are not enough!
I knew a busker who had one and it amazed me with the sound/tone/quality/volume! So when I started to think about becoming a charity show entertainer now I've retired, there was only one choice, BOSE S1+. Size weight and battery powered are all big pluses. Please note there is a free App with limited capability, but the all singing and dancing App is £39 a year and then you can control everything via your Blu-Tooth Smart Phone. "IF" you are not using cables the BOSE Wireless Microphone or Instrument Transmitters are extra but others are available and the connection options are plenty. "IF" you are still undecided plenty of videos on line to answer any and all questions.

Fantastic PA system for anyone starting up.
I bought this as a start up PA kit for launching my business and i'm so glad i did. Its ideal for the price. Easy to set up due to its size and light to carry. the built in EQ is great and you can play with the treble/bass and reverb. I have downloaded the BOSE app and can control the EQ whilst performing and even tone match it to my SM58 microphone (bought seperately) I am buying another now and linking both speakers together for a bigger sound.

Not for me
I gave this three stars because it was far too bass-heavy, even at lower settings. Worse, the system glitched and stopped responding completely—I had to wait for it to run out of charge just to power it off. That was enough for me to decide to return it. This experience has really put me off digital PA systems in general; if the software glitches, the whole system becomes unusable. I’m taking it back tomorrow for a refund.
