Distorts easily, default profile is too bass heavy
TBH I’m disappointed in this speaker, especially for the money. It distorts easily, especially if the bass is set at the default half-way position. The only way to get the volume above 1/3 on the scale in the app is to reduce the bass to 1/4 or less. I feel the default profile, which sounds good at low volume, is too bass heavy as the volume increases, leading to distortion. For a product at this price point, with onboard processing, should be able to automatically reduce bass as volume increases to prevent distortion and protect itself. I fear that if someone turns it up too much the distortion will become excessive and damage the bass driver.

Perfect Portable Speaker for Karaoke Nights
I bought the Bose S1 Pro+ Portable Bluetooth PA System last February after using it at a friend’s gathering for karaoke. I immediately loved the sound quality, which is what convinced me to get one for myself. I mainly bought it because I love singing karaoke, and it has been perfect for that.
