Customers Say
Large, stylish ceiling fan with quiet operation and effective cooling. Installation is challenging due to wiring and remote sensor fitting. Remote control is convenient but lacks bulb/battery supply. Size often bigger than expected.

Manhattan Argos ceiling fan
Nice product. Took a little fiddling around fitting the remote receiver but easy enough. Great product. This is my third fan which I purchased from Argos. I’ve become a fan. Lol

Good Fan, Sightly Tricky to Fit
I did a lot of research before I bought this fan and read all the reviews. I have to say I agree with everything everyone else said! The fan is big, it cools my living room pretty well (haven't used it above 25 C yet) and maybe not as powerful as I thought but never had one before. It is simple to wire and put together APART FROM getting the wires in at the end like everyone else says! We got it done eventually after much frustrated fiddling round with it. Clearly a design fault. Also the screws are rubbish so you will need your own ones probably. And the instructions arent 100% clear so a YouTube video is recommended. And FYI white side facing down for the blades to be in cooling direction. Instructions dont make that clear. But overall I would recommend and it blends into the white ceiling and does the job. The light part of it is bright enough and can be used separate to the fan and the remote control is good.

Not best for fitting
Took an eletrician over 1.5 hours to fit due to poor manufacturing of the remote sensor and bracket

Works well
Works well, easy to balance and quiet. It is big though and hangs low so if you are planning on doing jumping jacks or would rather not have a Spitfire propellor on your ceiling it isnt for you. Check dimensions first.

ITS FAN TASTIC
This ceiling fan light is fantastic it was a bit tricky attaching the blades to the motor point as they were fiddly little screws but other than that it went together quite easily it’s remote controlled you get five blades which is good but I was really surprised at the size of it all it was bigger than I had expected it to be. It has 3 speeds levels which is good and it also has a forward and a reverse switch on to of light fixture which is good for keeping you cool in the summer with its good airflow then put it in to the reverse setting and when it’s winter and you have the heating on it help to circulate the heat around the room evenly all in all it’s a fantastic product and it was an excellent price well pleased with my purchase I would highly recommend this item. R and just so you know you don’t get the bulbs included you have to buy them separately which wasn’t really bad as the only cost £2.50 for a pack of 2 mini golf ball bulbs. And I forgot to mention the sound of it in use and I’m happy to tell you it’s quiet which is good.

Black bookcase & ceiling fan
I purchased the black bookcase and I am more than happy with it, for the price it put together really well , also a ceiling fan it was a replacement for one I bought a few years agoand although the fan still worked the light went and was It in repairable , so very happy with both items purchased in the last few weeks.

big and quiet,
Replaced a Westinghouse that started squeaking worryingly after about ten years. Impressively powerful but so far very quiet and stable. Blends in with the ceiling so doesn't overwhelm the room. Two-person installation, heavy, and the dome is quite cramped for the cabling but we got there eventually. Remote is simple and seems reliable. Been working nicely for about six months now, here's hoping it lasts another decade!
