Perfect in many ways.
Large and very stable. Perfect for s grandfather who's not too sprightly on his feet. Large and very clear screen, again perfect when ones eyesight is a bit below par. Most importantly. It takes real batteries, easily available and at a reasonable price. Much better than those expensive 'coin' shaped batteries. All this and at a very competitive price. What's not to like.

Arrived well packed. Looks and feels well made. Very large, clear display. Easy to use. Press button cycles through the unit choices before or after weighing yourself. It is quite heavy and the non slip rubber feet grip well. Overall very pleased with the purchase and would not hesitate to buy this brand again. Do you switch from Imperial to Metric regularly? - FWIW -The press switch to change the units (St+Lbs, Lbs or Kgs) is just under the rear edge of the scale. Right handed, run your middle finger tip up the right hand edge of the display and keep going, over the edge, grasping the scale and lifting the back slightly. With practice your finger tip lands on the button and saves picking the whole unit up.

Excellent scales. Can’t be improved on…
These scales are perfect. They use regular batteries other than those silly little pill things. The design is nice and fussy and it’s simplicity itself to use with a really large clear Display. Couldn’t be better. The only thing I don’t like is the slightly naff ‘signature’ logo on the top but it’s not very obvious. Argos delivery quick as ever.

The display on my old bathroom scales was dark grey on medium grey and I couldn't read it without bending down and wobbling, which upset the reading. The Beurer is brilliant with a large clear illuminated white-on-black display.

Nice wide weighing platform but sadly I returned it as it is very heavy to pick up. I have arthritis in my wrists and found this scale far too heavy to manoeuvre.
