Johnstone's Quick Dry Gloss is a high opacity gloss paint for interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces, including skirting boards, doors, radiators and staircases. The water-based, low odour formulation is non-yellowing, easy to apply and quick-drying.

Bought to refresh a door. Sanded it down but it still took 6 coats of paint to do each side as it kept splitting. Used the whole pot on one door! I've never experienced this before.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Johnstone's Quick Dry Gloss Paint 750ML - Black.
Exterior metal will always need some thorough preparation before application of a new coating.
The surface will need degreasing followed by a water-based metal primer in grey. The gloss will adhere and perform once these steps are complete.
