Long time to assemble but good
It took a long time to assemble but it is very spacious and sturdy.

Great for tight spaces!
Brilliant, fits in my narrow hallway and doesn’t take up much space but holds a lot of shoes! Knocked a star off because building it wasn’t easy, a couple of scratches and a couple of holes for assembly missing. But overall, worth the purchase!

*damaged*
Bought the first unit only to send back as the top had large noticeable scratches. Waited 3 weeks for a replacement to find the second unit also with some minor scratches and quite a large noticeable chip on the top! Lovely unit but maybe the black isn’t the best as any minor mark is very noticeable

Really great shoe store
Once completed and finished this is a great shoe store. I have mens UK12 size feet and my trainers fit. It looks great and is a solid piece of kit. This took me 6 hours to build by myself and the instructions are so-so, I got a couple of things wrong and had to go back! It doesn't come with fixing to attach it to the wall, but does have holes partially pre-drilled, so you will need some long screws, wall plugs and washers. It probably isn't safe to just have it lean against a wall.

Very solid
Love this. Takes a bit of putting together but v sturdy. Only downside is husband is size 11 so doors will only close if his shoes are in the outer slot. No big issu. Perfect for my small hallway

Wouldn't Recommend
It didn't take that long together which is great, it is however fiddley & the instructions only pictorial, could have had some support with actual text instructions. The cupboards have not aligned and have gaps which is disappointing and only realised when I had almost finished. Also, it seems unsafe as it is only supported by 2 legs and needs to be braced to the wall, but comes with no kit to do, so it's leaning back for now.

Hi Kemi,
Yes, you can screw the Tvilum Madrid Shoe Storage Cabinet to the wall.
While it is designed to be freestanding, securing it to the wall is recommended, especially if you have children or pets, to prevent it from tipping over.
For securing the Shoe Storage Cabinet to the wall, the type of wall anchors you should use depends on the wall material:
Drywall: Use toggle bolts or molly bolts. These anchors expand behind the wall, providing a strong hold.
Plaster: Use plastic anchors or metal anchors designed for plaster walls. Ensure they are rated for the weight of the cabinet.
Concrete or Brick: Use sleeve anchors or concrete screws. These are specifically designed to grip into masonry.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Brian,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tvilum Madrid Shoe Storage Cabinet- White:
It’ll fit up to 16 pairs. Some allowance will need to be made for the shape, style, and brand of the shoes though, e.g. a dress shoe (which tends to be fairly flat and slim), a skate trainer (tending to be chunkier and wider), and so on.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Lindsey.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tvilum Madrid Shoe Storage Cabinet- White:
This does NOT come with wall mounting kit. This would be a separate purchase for customers.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Alexis,
The supplier has advised the following for the feet on the Tvilum Madrid Shoe Storage Cabinet- Black:
"They are 10 cm".
The feet, front edge to back of unit, are set 24.6cm from the back so you'd have more than enough room for the thickness of the skirting boards. As long as they're shorter than 10cm tall, it should sit flush with the wall.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tvilum Madrid Shoe Storage Cabinet- Black:
Max shoe length that will fit in Madrid shoe cabinet is 33.5 cm.
