It’s a phone and an answering machine, what could?
Acceptable for the price. Bought to replace a faulty unit and while it essentially does exactly the same thing I can’t help but miss the previous phone. The display isn’t quite as clear and it has some very strange sounds for the ringer. But again, for the money, it does what it says on the box.

If the router is with FXS port and also telephone service is applied, our phone should work.

The VTech CS2051 Cordless Telephone with Answer Machine - Twin can only change the answer delay rings to one the following settings: TIME
SAVER, 2 RINGS, 4 RINGS, 6 RINGS or 8 RINGS.
To change to one of these settings:
1. Press when the phone is not in use.
2. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANS. MACHINE, and then press to select.
3. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to TAM SETTINGS, and press to select.
4. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ANSWER DELAY, and press to select.
5. Press ▼/▲ to select between TIME SAVER, 2, 4, 6, or 8 RINGS. Press okay to save the settings and return to previous menu option.
